Required Skills:
  • Valid and active New York State medical license
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (no BE candidates)
  • DEA certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Experience managing diverse patient populations, including teenagers and adults
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Previous experience in community health centers
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically eClinical Works
  • Ultrasound experience
  • Familiarity with hospital delivery procedures
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN
  • Prior work in hospital or clinic settings delivering comprehensive women's health services
Other Requirements:
  • Must be available for a minimum of three weeks per month, including a 24-hour hospital call shift (07:00 to 07:00) every 7 days
  • Flexibility to cover clinics (two 8-hour days, Monday-Friday)
  • Reliable transportation for local travel; mileage reimbursement or potential rental car provided if needed
  • Completion of credentialing process within 60-90 days
  • Ability to support approximately 14 patients daily, with patient encounters every 30 minutes
  • On-site ultrasound availability and delivery support at nearby hospital (about 1,500 deliveries annually)
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $222.30, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick time, and a robust referral bonus program.
