Warehouse Lead TW

Position Summary: Warehouse/Production Team Leader, coordinate’s activities of workers in aluminum plate saw processing including pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders. The Production Team Leader will perform the following duties.

Hourly Rate: $29.30

• Assign duties and monitor work for accuracy and performance.
• Lead the aluminum plate processing team in scheduling orders, expediting critical shipments, and maintaining on‑time performance.
• Establish and maintain rapid turnaround and short lead times.
• Manage routine equipment maintenance for the production cell, follow TW Corporate guidelines, and promote a highly safe, efficient work environment.
• Support Branch Management in fostering a positive employee culture, continuous improvement mindset, and excellence in customer service.
• Provide work direction, both written and orally, to the warehouse team personnel.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
• Address errors and complaints in a timely manner.
• Operate in supervisory role.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in the metals industry is helpful.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English; interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Basic arithmetic skills in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Proficiency with common PC programs such as Excel and Word; ability to learn the mainframe program Metalware.
