Walker SCM, LLC brings an experienced team approach to multi‑national logistics service. We are a 3PL provider of assembly and contract packaging services and the associated warehousing, distribution, procurement, and transportation services.

Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient repair, installation, adjustments, maintenance and/or troubleshooting of industrial production and/or processing machinery and systems. Responsibilities will also include general maintenance and facility repairs as needed.

• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices
• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment
• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
• Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary
• 5 years maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing is required
• Familiarity with automated machinery to include check weigher's, conveyors, tape machines, Quadrel labeler's, Video Jet and Laser printers, L
  - Sealers, F-5 shrink wrap, Blister sealing, Baggers, PLC boards
• Basic carpentry, and ability to create jigs as needed
• Ability to source and find parts on internet when needed; bilingual a plus
• Experience in drawing basic line-to-line diagrams and reading prints and schematics to troubleshoot circuitry issues is preferred
• Bi‑lingual Spanish a plus
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred
• Must be willing and able to learn process, equipment specifications, and company standards by actively consulting resources associates, manuals, training department, policies, etc.

USD $21.00 – $27.00 / hr.
