Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location;
Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, verifying access authorization, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs;
Monitor security-related alarms, cameras, and communication systems, report irregular conditions, and complete required incident reports and daily activity logs;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify maintenance or operational concerns for reporting
