Be a part of the Saint Therese - IHM Senior Living Community! We are looking for a full-time Lead Food Server to work in our 5-star healthcare facility in Monroe, Michigan
. This role offers a renovated, private, home-like environment on a beautiful campus with an emphasis on teamwork, quality, and opportunities to use and grow your skills.
- Oversight of Dining Room operations and potential to host in the dining room.
- Supervision and work direction for Dining Services staff.
- Recruitment participation for departmental positions.
- Monitoring quality, timeliness, and infection control procedures for meal service.
- Preparation and delivery of special functions.
- Positions available working every other weekend and holiday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with potential variable start times.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

- Degree in Food and Nutrition preferred.
- Minimum three years experience in institutional nutrition services or high-end restaurant serving.
- Two years supervisory experience within the food service industry.
- State and County survey experience.
- Experience in the senior care industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of nutrition services functions and related federal and state regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with groups and model appropriate behaviors to staff.
- Commitment to effective customer service skills and leadership abilities.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software, including word processing, graphics, and spreadsheet applications.
