Benefits- Starting Pay $19.23/hour + $0.55 shift differential

The primary role for the Material Handler is moving material around the plant or work site with a forklift and/or crane in order for production to run smoothly. The person in this role will perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. They are responsible for transporting material around the plant with a forklift and/or heavy machinery and prioritizing requests so production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Move material around plant using a forklift to produce finishing, packaging, or shipping parts.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production.
- Observe machine processing for proper functioning and production of parts.
- Load and unload their assigned machine and pack product for the forklift.
- Perform visual and/or manual inspection as needed.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Assist operator with set‑ups and running production as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to frequently bend and stoop
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and exert moderate to heavy physical effort with a minimum lifting requirement of 50 pounds
- Must be willing to travel as needed via most efficient means
- Must be physically able to access all areas of the plant and grounds
- Must be available for work on any shift or shift rotation or work schedule as needed by the company
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
