Title:

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Shift – 5x8-Hour (06:30–15:00);
On-call every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday 06:30–15:00)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including bone scans, brain scans, gastric emptying studies, HIDA scans, thyroid studies, myocardial perfusion, and lung scans.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols for storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials.
Start and maintain IV lines as needed for imaging procedures.
Collaborate with medical and technical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
Maintain quality control, equipment calibration, and patient safety standards
Float required for on-call coverage only between Monroe and Hickman sites.
Required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
Preferred

Experience and Skills:

Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience in an acute care or hospital setting.

Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations. Proficiency in Epic charting system (preferred). Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple procedures in a fast-paced environment.
