Our client is seeking Crisis Social Worker in the Monroe area. CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Screens all incoming calls, providing crisis service for adults, children, adolescents and families, provides face‑to‑face assessments consistent with authority standards as needed, schedules admission appointments, or makes referrals to outside agencies or service providers consistent with signed contracts and/or inter‑agency service agreements, including but not limited to, Peace Officers, Jail Administrations and staff, Prosecutor Office, Defense Attorneys, Judges and Probation Officers.

Coordinates support/services with the consumer's identified primary health care provider when applicable.

Assesses need for psychiatric consultation authorization.

Provides individual and group community education by phone and/or by group presentations.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Master's in counseling, social work or related field
LLMSW or LPC or LMSW in the state of MI
Two years previous experience with mentally ill or co‑occurring (MI/Substance Abuse) populations preferred. One year's experience with children with SED and adults/children with a developmental disability preferred.
