Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leading educational service agency is seeking skilled School Psychologists to support multiple school districts within Monroe County, Michigan. This travel position offers an opportunity to work onsite across various school locations, providing essential psychological services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and support plans.
  • Provide counseling and consultation services to students and school staff.
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings to support special education processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required).
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing, counseling techniques, and special education laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel and work onsite at various school locations within Monroe County, including Airport, Dundee, Monroe, Jefferson, Bedford, and Whiteford.
Position Details
  • Employment period: ASAP through 5/22/2026.
  • Workweek: 37.5 hours.
  • Number of openings: 6.
  • Work environment:
    Onsite only, travel required between assigned schools.
