Construction Site Logistics Coordinator

The Construction Site Logistics Coordinator will queue the management and dispatching of drivers and releasing of loads in the Transportation Management system, primarily from the Welcome Center to the onsite delivery points. This individual will also verify driver information, shipment details and ensure each truck is directed to the correct onsite delivery point.

This position will be onsite in Rayville, LA. The work schedule consists of four twelve-hour days followed by three days off. Various days/shifts are available. Starting salary would be 45-50K per year.

Essential Functions
  • Queue management/dispatching drivers and releasing loads in Vector
  • Verify driver information, shipment details and ensure each truck is directed to the correct site delivery points.
  • Ad hoc operational/configuration changes as needed in Vector to support the sites' needs.
  • Provide tactical front-line support for all command center activities at the account level and after-hours support via pager and remote access as required.
  • Active communications (electronic/personal) with internal and external customers on operational issues to insure all items are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Provide support for peers and subordinates' key operational decisions and non-typical requests to support customers business needs.
  • Manage a variety of account specific and site wide tactical and strategic projects.

Qualifications
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
  • Two (2) years or more direct Transportation or Logistics work experience required
