Responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager and for ensuring company standards are met. In the Store Manager’s absence, the Assistant Manager leads all store operations.

• Lead all company best practices and maximize productivity.
• Assist in analyzing store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Communicate variances to the Store Manager.
• Ensure proper scheduling of associates and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee associate cleaning tasks and payroll administration.
• Accept special assignments from leadership.

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing associates.
• Ensure compliance with personnel policies.
• Communicate associate relations incidents to management.

• Help manage and monitor expenditures to stay within budget.
• Control payroll hours in line with business trends.

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors.
• Ensure associates understand emergency procedures.
• Facilitate monthly safety meetings.

• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect.
• Maintain courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism.
• Execute customer service and merchandise presentation programs.
• Coach retail associates on efficient service.

• Represent and support the company brand.
• Maintain professional appearance and store cleanliness.
• Ensure associate cleaning tasks are completed.

• Complete recovery, sizing, and markdowns per company standards.
• Present merchandise according to guidelines.
• Ensure timely merchandise processing to the sales floor.

• Train associates on loss prevention awareness.
• Safeguard confidential information and merchandise.
• Maintain presence on the sales floor and maintain inflation policy.
• Support annual inventory process.
• Monitor store loss prevention procedures.

• Manage work processes, business acumen, planning, talent building, collaboration, leadership, communication, accountability.

• Two or more years of store or assistant store manager experience in retail.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively with associates.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• High quality of customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Basic math skills for retail environments.

• Use store equipment and spend up to 100% standing/walking.
• Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop.
• Occasionally push/pull up to 25 lb.
• Use janitorial equipment and assigned supplies.

• Direct supervision of all non‑exempt associates.
