An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to take on a specialized 13-week contract assignment in Monroe, Louisiana. This role supports two surgeons in a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment, managing two CVOR rooms and one hybrid OR. A strong background in cardiovascular procedures and operating room efficiency is critical for success in this position.

Hours:

• 06:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct nursing care in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including hybrid OR cases
• Collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Managing preoperative and postoperative patient care specific to cardiac surgery
• Maintaining sterile fields and proper OR protocols in high-pressure situations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience preferred
• Current RN license valid in Louisiana or a compact state
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Proven expertise with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR environments
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
