RN - Med Surg, Nights, Sign-on Bonus Available — Join Our Dynamic Med-Surg Team at Piedmont Walton. Our 36-bed Medical-Surgical unit offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment caring for a wide range of adult patients, including orthopedic needs, general and bariatric surgeries, cardiac/telemetry monitoring, and complex medical conditions. RN-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:56 and PCTs from 1:69, allowing for meaningful, team-based patient care.

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she functions within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

  Graduate of a nursing program

  New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
  Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  For PRN positions:
  One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
