Job DescriptionPrepares and executes clerical duties related to processing consumer/commercial loans and documentation in accordance with Loan Processing Department guidelines and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.
- Reviews and prepares loan packages and documentation following underwriting guidelines and policies.
- Prepares consumer/commercial loan closing documents using nCino and Tru Stage documentation software for all markets.
- Prepares less complex loan transactions.
- Reviews loan applications in nCino for appropriate information and approval.
- Prepares promissory notes and collateral documentation using Tru Stage.
- Applies appropriate state and federal guidelines to loan processing function and stays abreast of regulatory changes and applies information as needed.
- If needed, check status of entities with Secretary of State (TX, MS, LA, AL & FL).
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum five years banking experience (loan related experience preferred).
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer applications such as the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and banking software. Ability to use basic office machines. Ability to learn bank-specific software such as MPC, IBS, ADP, etc.
