Step into a Accounting Clerk position in Bastrop and support daily accounting tasks with detail, accuracy, and a touch of magic. You'll manage invoices, payments, and financial records that keep the whole operation moving.

What's Required to Get Started

• High school diploma required; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred .
• 1-3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and time management abilities.

What You'll Take OnYou will Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on time. Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable, post payments, and follow up on outstanding balances. Communicate with clients to resolve billing inquiries or discrepancies. Generate billing and aging reports and assist with month-end close tasks. Provide general accounting and administrative support, including data entry and filing.
