The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will determine the best method of transportation based on customer requirements, while keeping costs economical. This position supports the shipping department.

• Work directly with customers and carriers to determine the best method of transportation.
• Manage shipping documentation daily, including order scheduling, printing initial orders and address labels, updating the shipping log, scanning documentation, and reprinting revised orders.
• Sign in drivers and visitors using the sign-in sheet.
• Complete required paperwork and organize shipping documentation.
• Coordinate pick-ups with the Warehouse Supervisor, Lead(s) and carriers using the Dock Schedule.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Assist with audit preparations and participate as requested by management.
• Drive and operate a forklift.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the warehouse setting.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by management.

• High School or GED.
• Forklift certified.
• Able to drive and operate a forklift.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Starting pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
