Overview

JOB POSTING – Document Specialist in the Real Estate & Property Acquisition Industry

Single Point Acquisitions Group is a full-service property rights acquisition company. Our goal is to be the preferred provider and “Single Point” of contact for professional right of way services, project management, and field surveys to the utility and real estate development industry.

We are seeking a full-time Document Specialist to work in our Monroe, Georgia office
. Working within a dedicated project team, Document Specialists research, create, collect, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely real estate related documents and provide support to our right of way agents who are negotiating right of way easements, land-owner payments, other contract deliverables on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities

Daily duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with field agents and project managers to create right-of-way acquisition documents for property owners.
  • Researching and documenting land-owner titles, tax records, encumbrances (liens, mortgages, etc.) and other property interests via GIS and other online systems.
  • Reviewing, preparing, and maintaining legal documents and reports on behalf of our clients.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge or experience in the principles and practices of real property acquisition, the legal instruments involved in real estate transactions, methods of searching for property owners, title and/or tax records.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams as well as Adobe. Knowledge of GIS and other real estate related document systems is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of varied backgrounds, cultures and temperaments.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent reading comprehension, writing and verbal skills in order to summarize work progress, convey research results and create ongoing reference materials for use in managing a pipeline of projects.
  • Ability to adapt to client or project-specific procedures and guidelines while exhibiting high degree of professionalism and project level teamwork.
