Join Our Dynamic Med‑Surg Team at Piedmont Walton. Our 24‑bed Medical‑Surgical unit offers a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment caring for a range of adult patients, including orthopedic, general and bariatric surgeries, cardiac/telemetry monitoring, and complex medical conditions. RN‑to‑patient ratios typically range from 1:56 and PCTs from 1:69, allowing for meaningful, team‑based patient care. Nurses and PCTs may also float to assist with needs across the hospital, making this a great opportunity for well‑rounded clinical growth and collaboration.

The Patient Care Technician, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• No experience required
• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
