OverviewAt Piedmont Walton, a 77‑bed community hospital with a 15‑bed Emergency Department and 8‑bed ICU, our Respiratory Therapists are essential members of a high‑performing, interdisciplinary care team. Serving a diverse patient population—from infants to older adults—our RTs provide expert care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Our therapists work in fast‑paced, high‑acuity areas including the ER, ICU, and Med‑Surg units, supporting everything from mechanical ventilation, intubation, and ABGs to oxygen therapy, EKGs, and EEGs.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where clinical skill, critical thinking, and teamwork are valued every day. - Perform patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences – Required
- No experience required – Required
- 1 year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties – Preferred
- RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners – Upon Hire Required
- BCLS – Basic Life Support – Upon Hire Required
- ACLS – Upon Hire Required
