We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Athens, GA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers  vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties of the position.
• It is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
