Press Operator

Vibe Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in South Wales. The company specialises in producing high-quality metal standing seam systems for roof and wall applications, known for their durability, sustainability, and strong customer support.

Location

• Based in Monmouth
• Flexibility to travel in line with business requirements

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 12:00 noon
• 39 hours per week

Salary

• 13.50 - 15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines to form and bend metal components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet required specifications
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Person Specification

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Competent in using measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
