Position: Teaching Assistant (Temporary)

Teaching Assistants in Caldicot play a crucial role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis. This role involves supporting teachers by assisting with classroom activities, preparing resources, and supervising students, particularly those with additional learning needs.

Key Requirements

CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
Confidence in managing a class of students aged 11 to 16+
Ability to maintain positive behaviour and keep students engaged
Flexibility to work across different departments and with various age groups on a daily basis
