Primary School Teaching Assistant - Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent
Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position within a primary school located in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent. The successful candidate will provide essential classroom support within the foundation phase, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with young children, familiar with the requirements of ESBD, SEN, and Ofsted standards. A relevant qualification such as NVQ or another recognised teaching assistant qualification is desirable. The role involves working closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support that fosters a nurturing educational environment.
Key expectations for the Primary School Teaching Assistant include supporting behaviour management, conducting general classroom duties, and assisting with literacy and numeracy activities. Flexibility and proactive communication skills are essential to thrive in this setting.
This position is designed to run from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, offering a daily rate of £88.92. The primary school is situated in a vibrant region, accessible for candidates residing in South East Wales or Greater Gwent area.
