Grocery Manager

Direct Reports: Stock Crew Leader, Receiver, Stockers, Dairy/Frozen

As a leader in the store, you will empower associates and solve problems through critical thinking, maintaining a well-stocked and merchandised store. In the absence of the Store Director and Assistant Store Director, you will assume their roles and assist with store operations.

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Learn the Store Director’s and Assistant Store Director’s roles through training
• Close the store 4-5 nights per week
• Manage grocery, frozen, and dairy ordering
• Maintain the backroom, grocery shelves, frozen, and dairy departments

• Train and develop employees for a stable, qualified workforce
• Schedule grocery department staff
• Direct stock crew
• Maintain ethical relationships with team members, vendors, and suppliers
• Foster a disciplined and respectful work environment with clear communication and conflict resolution

• Communicate with management and stay updated on policies and training
• Maintain records compliant with regulations and policies
• Adhere to dress code and name tag policies

Must be able to lift 60 lbs occasionally, exert 25-60 lbs. force frequently, and 10/20 lbs. constantly. Ability to stand, move, and use tools safely. Must have good vision and hearing, and be able to work on slippery floors.
