Overview
Your role as a System Emulation Engineer involves executing and debugging issues with validation, FW, and IP teams to meet product development milestones. During pre-silicon emulation, investigate and provide support for system issues that are found in firmware, hardware, or software.
Having 5 years of experience in debugging at low levels and emulating SoCs and embedded systems, and their associated software/firmware debugging. Skilled in troubleshooting emulation systems. Having proficiency in Verilog, C, C++, assembly, TCL/TK, Python, or other scripting languages. A comprehensive comprehension of BIOS and other firmware components. Familiarity with and application of standard debuggers, programmers, and related tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities(example)
- Execute and debug issues with validation, firmware, and IP teams to meet product development milestones during pre-silicon emulation.

- Apply knowledge of low-level debugging, emulation systems, and relevant languages/tools to resolve problems.
