About Us

The Smart Energy Company is a fast-growing renewable energy provider helping farmers take control of their power. Our patented NOREASTER micro solar farm is built tough for Canadian weather and designed with farmers in mind. Based in New Brunswick, we are leaders in Atlantic Canada and we are looking for a young farmer to join our team.

Who We’re Looking For

This internship is for someone who knows what it is like to work on a farm. Maybe you grew up on one, work on one now, or study agriculture. Either way, you understand farming life and can bring that experience into conversations with other farmers, helping us connect with the agricultural community across New Brunswick.

This role is flexible, perfect for someone who wants to earn some extra income alongside farm work. It can be part-time or full-time depending on your schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Visit farms and connect with local farmers and agricultural leaders across New Brunswick
  • Introduce them to Smart Energy and our NOREASTER micro solar farm
  • Spot potential opportunities through word of mouth, community events, and farm networks
  • Have real conversations with farmers, gathering key information and logging it in Hub Spot CRM
  • Build relationships by showing how solar can fit into farm operations
  • Help schedule follow-ups with our Smart Energy Consultants
  • Be a positive ambassador for Smart Energy in the farming community
Why This Role Might Be Right for You
  • Flexible schedule with part-time or full-time options available
  • Hands-on experience using professional tools like Hub Spot CRM
  • Coaching, mentorship, and career-building skills in clean energy
  • A chance to help other farmers explore renewable energy options
  • Contribute to Canada’s farming and clean energy future while building your career
