Key ResponsibilitiesConducting cannabinoid testing experiments ( stability and formulation experiments) to support innovative cannabis product development,Plan, perform, and interpret results of experiments and projects, ensuring data quality and complete technical reports and presentations are delivered to agreed timelines;Communicate scientific information effectively through clear oral and written presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences;Apply scientific problem-solving skills and leverage available literature/resources to proactively implement technical solutions and adopt industry best practices;Accurately document all data generated from laboratory work performed, including creation and documentation of study and experimental protocols, development of experimental procedures, and records of deviations and corrective actions;Skills, Competencies and QualificationsBachelor's, Master's OR PHD in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences);Practical experience in an R&D environment, preferably within industry and ideally within the cannabis sector or other API, supporting diverse scientific programmes in a complex, matrixed organization;Experience with formulation development and/or stability studies. Experience with cannabinoids is desiredPractical knowledge of human efficacy testing is desirable;Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data with the ability to summarize findings in scientific reports and provide well-supported conclusions and recommendations;Reach out to Paul Melanson at Mac Donald Search Group at
