About the Role
My client is an award winning, women-owned agency looking to bring on a Vice President, Medical Services to lead strategic scientific initiatives within the promotional/marketing space of medical communications
, with a primary focus on heme/oncology
. This senior leadership role will drive scientific excellence, strategic insight, and innovation across client engagements, ensuring impactful communication solutions that advance healthcare brands.

• Provide scientific leadership and strategic oversight for oncology-focused promotional medical communications programs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (account, creative, strategy) to deliver integrated solutions that balance scientific rigor with creative impact
  .
• Lead development of scientific platforms, lexicons, and narratives that shape brand positioning and drive adoption among healthcare professionals.
• Oversee creation and review of high-quality deliverables, including slide decks, symposia content, advisory board materials, and digital engagement tools
  .
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic recommendations grounded in data and compliance standards
  .
• Mentor and develop medical writers and scientific staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices in promotional medical communications.

• PhD, MD, or PharmD required.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a medical communications agency
  , with a strong track record in the promotional/marketing space
  .
• Proven leadership experience managing scientific teams and client relationships at a senior level.
