What you will do:

  • Fabricate and repair parts using drilling, milling, lathing, and welding
  • Operate and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, vacuum, clutch, and some electrical systems
  • Assist with new projects or improvement plans for existing machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings
  • Inspect machinery for pinch points, safety hazards, and proper operation; install safety devices as needed
  • Change and set dies in certain departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You bring strong knowledge of mechanical and industrial machinery systems and are skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production equipment.

You are proficient with lockout/tagout procedures, workplace safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices and are physically able to work in a manufacturing environment. You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Good computer skills and familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC-related processes are considered assets. Punctual, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, you consistently maintain a high standard of work.
