General Labourer​/Brakeman

American Iron & Metal, has an opening for an enthusiastic individual to fill a General Labourer/Brakeman position at our Transloading Facility in Moncton.

Duties Will Include:

• Working outside in all weather conditions
• Performing Brakeman duties weighing, placing and shipping rail cars
• Assist trucks in to the unloading position and helping Operators in small tasks around the heavy equipment
• Manage the car inventory and keeping track of material
• Other general labour duties will apply

• Rail 105 considered an asset
• Previous recycling experience is considered an asset
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment
• Ability to work in a loud, dusty environment

• Full time hours with potential overtime, paid after 44 hours
• Shifts run Monday - Friday (potential weekends)
