Our partner, Atlantic Roofers Ltd., is currently seeking an experienced and personable Branch Manager to lead their Saint John, New Brunswick location. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a seasoned construction professional ready to take on a pivotal leadership role within a growing, progressive organization.

OVERVIEW

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of the Saint John branch. You will lead a high-performing team, manage client relationships, oversee financial targets, and ensure that every project is executed with safety, quality, and professionalism at the forefront.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a central role in driving branch profitability, mentoring Project Managers, Foremen, and crews, and acting as the face of Atlantic Roofers in the Saint John market. This role is ideal for a confident, personable leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to both team development and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and enhance a robust customer base by delivering exceptional service and achieving or exceeding budgeted sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team across all levels, with safety embedded as a core aspect of the work culture.
  • Verify job costs, ensuring deadlines and profit margins are met while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Oversee inventory, rolling stock, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.
  • Professionally engage with clients, leveraging your expertise to build trust and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Guide Project Managers, Foremen, and crews in project planning, coordination, and execution in alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Foremen, playing a key role in overall project success.
  • Exhibit professionalism and personable leadership, with a commitment to both the company's goals and your own continued growth within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in a construction sub-trade or with a small General Contractor, including direct experience with Commercial/Industrial Roofing systems.
  • Proven experience in construction project management from inception to completion.
  • Diploma in Construction Technology (CET, CMT) or a related field, or a degree in Engineering or Architecture considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate construction trade workers effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
  • Ability to work at heights with knowledge of fall protection equipment and PPE; physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments and handling hazards associated with the trade.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean Driving Abstract required; some weekend and overtime flexibility may be necessary.
  • Familiarity with safety equipment requirements, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and off-site locations as needed.
