As the Front of House Coordinator, you will play a key role in preparing and supporting the front-of-house teams during events held at the Monument-National. Do you have experience in hospitality, an excellent sense of organization, and enjoy assisting the House Management team? Do you thrive in the performing arts environment and wish to contribute to welcoming audiences in a landmark venue — the oldest continuously operating theatre in Canada?

Responsibilities
  • Support the House Manager in preparing and supervising the front-of-house team;
  • Assist with the logistical and operational preparations for events;
  • Participate in the distribution of tasks (setting up spaces, role assignments, breaks, takedown, etc.);
  • Act as a resource for ushers and attendants at the bar and coat check, as needed and under the supervision of the House Manager;
  • Provide caring and constructive guidance and follow-up with the team;
  • Ensure smooth communication before, during, and after events;
  • Intervene when needed or in the event of unforeseen situations.
Ideal Profile
  • Experience in front-of-house or team coordination (strong asset);
  • Collaborative leadership and sense of responsibility;
  • Strong communication and stress management skills;
  • Initiative, autonomy, and attention to detail;
  • Regular availability in the evenings and on weekends;
  • Fluency in French and English.
