Moncton, NB – 39.2 miles from Kent Hills, NB. We are offering a $3,300 CAD Sign‑On Bonus*.

Position Overview

As a Wind Site Technician you will support the safe, efficient operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting and system support. Your role is essential to delivering clean, reliable energy for local communities, regardless of your specific background in wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy‑machinery sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain wind turbines alongside a team to keep communities powered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, perform safety inspections and foster a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve turbine performance, share best practices and support change initiatives.
  • Document work thoroughly and propose improvements to work instructions and operational processes.
  • Support specialty projects (e.g., crane work, CIM) and mentor junior technicians.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 3 years of wind experience, including heavy equipment and crane work. Task Based Certification (TBC) Level 300 or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
  • Safety‑conscious and a role model for best practices, with advanced knowledge of energy isolation and risk mitigation.
  • A collaborative team player who mentors others and leads by example.
  • Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working at heights and in varying conditions, holding a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s licence, and legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Salary & Career Growth

We offer attractive pay packages, performance bonuses and opportunities to support professional development. Base pay ranges per hour are dependent on experience and qualifications; additional variable compensation may be applicable.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Hearing required to use telephones, close‑range radios or similar devices.
  • Visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision, and colour discrimination.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed, and to perform hand‑eye coordination tasks.
  • Capability to climb stairs and vertical ladders to heights of 60–100 m and at times supervise confined‑space work.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry items up to 50 lb.
  • Can obtain and apply safety certifications such as LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High‑Angle Rescue & Emergency Descent and Confined Space.
  • Can complete all required training courses, including controlled descent practical exercises.
