The Opportunity
New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is committed to transforming lives and communities. The College is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Clinical Instructor, Registered Nurse (Casual), in the delivery of the New Brunswick Canadian Educated Nurses Re-entry/Internationally Educated Nurses bridging program (NB CRIB). Duration: April 2026 - October 2026
Schedule: 36.25 hours per week for the first 5 weeks (April-May), followed by work on an as-needed basis for the remainder of the contract. There is a possibility of extension depending on operational needs.
Location: Miramichi, Fredericton, Moncton, and Saint John (one position per location). There may be additional opportunities to facilitate clinical in the Upper River Valley Hospital.
Salary Range: $33.85 to $47.70 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for a higher maximum step, up to $52.08 hourly, based on their level of post-secondary education.

As part of School of Health and Wellness, and reporting to the Academic Chair of Allied Health, the successful candidate is responsible for establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students in the clinical setting; building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.
The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and ability to teach, supervise, counsel, guide and evaluate Registered Nurse students in the acute medical-surgical hospital clinical setting. They will provide opportunities for students to develop and integrate professional knowledge, skills, and values based on the expectations of entry-level registered nurses in the Canadian healthcare system.
