As the Claims Vendor Management Consultant you will be the relationship owner and vendor expert for specific vendor categories within the department to achieve business strategies and objectives. You will ensure embedment of client experience, quality services, cost controls, compliance, contract fulfillment, and sustainability principles within the vendor management program.
How you will create impact:
Managing policies, processes, and procedures for vendor category commitments, relationship management, and metrics and analysis.Directing consistent vendor workflows and cost control initiatives in specific vendor categories that drive the department and organizational objectives.Overseeing contract fulfillment and participating in procurement activities and acting as the main point of contact for vendors, including vendor investigation, privacy breach, cyber and general vendor risks.Ensuring the success of the vendor management program through conducting and communicating regular performance reviews, including measures and results, with vendors and business leaders.Monitoring customer and competitor landscape to adjust business plans, shift priorities, and escalate resolutions.How you will succeed:

You have five years of experience in technical claims, vendor management or procurement, including experience with business system applications.You have post-secondary education.You have working knowledge of insurance activities, legal regulations, procurement processes, and contract agreement interpretation.You have demonstrated proficient experience working with data and analytics.Having the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation(s) is an asset.What you need to know:

Expected salary/hourly range $72,847 - $121,411
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
