Cable Puller

Overview

Job Description. We are looking for Entry Level Techs with basic Fiber or Cable Pulling Experience. Candidates will require steel (or composite) toed boots and PPE — hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses.

After a month into the role, technicians will need to purchase a punchdown tool with 66 and 110 blades, snips, and knife, as they will be doing punch downs in the comm closets and terminating jacks. Initially, they will primarily be pulling the cable, hanging with J hook, and learning from the Sr guys how to do punch downs and terminating.

• Pull cables and install as needed, hang with J hooks, and observe punch downs and terminating techniques.
• Perform punch downs and terminate jacks in communications closets after initial training.

• Must be able to climb an 8- to 10-ft ladder
• Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50 lbs
• Must have a vehicle to travel to jobsites each week

Entry Level

This is a Contract position based out of Moncks Corner, SC.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
