Carpenter; Moncks Corner, SC

Holder Construction is seeking Carpenters for our Moncks Corner project.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a challenging, fast‑paced, yet supportive environment. They’ll possess strong teamwork skills, the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, stay flexible, and meet tight deadlines.

• Perform skilled carpentry work in the maintenance and repair of commercial buildings and facilities, including rough carpentry, setting forms for concrete, finish wall paneling, casework, and trim.
• Construct and maintain safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Provide primary support to field supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Maintain professionalism and apply critical thinking to solve issues.

• 3 years of experience in carpentry, ability to read drawings, and training in construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, lifting and carrying materials weighing 50‑100 lb up to 75 % of the time.
• Proficient in reaching, handling, and manipulating objects; able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and work on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to read/write, see and hear well (native or with correction).
• Open to working overtime and weekend hours, and able to pass project‑specific background checks.
• Must work in an OSHA‑compliant safety environment.
• Must be agile/mobile and remain alert on site.
