Job DescriptionJoin our team to build wire harnesses for exciting new products. Help develop better Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work collaboratively with the development team to enhance process efficiency.
Responsibilities- Assemble wire harnesses according to technical specifications, connecting wires, cables, and connectors.
- Inspect completed wire harnesses for quality, ensuring proper connections, secure crimps, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including part numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow technical instructions for wire processing, cutting, soldering, and crimping/stripping wire.
- Maintain an inventory of various parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Construct components, subunits, or simple models or adapt standard equipment.
- Conduct various tests or experiments, requiring modifications in test setups or procedures.
- Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials.
- Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, using fully applicable precedents.
- Experience in building wire harnesses.
- Proficiency in wire processing, cutting, soldering, and crimping/stripping wire.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience using multi-meter.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous avionics or military experience (electronics technicians) is beneficial.
- Understanding of NEC or ESD standards.
- Radio frequency experience is a plus.

Work EnvironmentClimate-controlled, very clean facility. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasional overtime may be required. The team consists of 10 technicians, a manager, and a supervisor.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr.
