The Free‑Standing ED Float Technician is required to work at all Trident Health System free‑standing ED Imaging departments to meet the specific needs of each facility.

• Perform all duties relating to the specific primary and post‑primary imaging modalities in which they are working (both RAD and CT).
• Competently operate all diagnostic RAD and CT equipment, including preparing the rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies for the imaging exam.
• Assist in the primary mission of the FSED Imaging department by ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production of high‑quality scans, protocol adherence, critical thinking, excellent patient care, and obtaining clinically relevant history.

• Must be ARRT (R) registered with a post‑primary certification of ARRT (CT) preferred.
• SCRQSA as required.
• BLS.
• 1+ years of experience in medical imaging preferred.
• Employee must be competent to work at all FSED Imaging departments within Trident Health System.
