The Cloud Supply Chain and Operations team is committed to the successful implementation of autonomous and semi‑autonomous vehicles throughout multiple data centers. CBRE is seeking a full‑time, permanent Automation Deployment PM with experience coordinating the deployment of robotics‑centric automation solutions.

The Deployment PM will report to the client‑approved location:
Moncks Corner, SC. The role involves construction, safety, and operational best practices while coordinating the deployment of automation solutions at the client’s data centers.

The individual will collaborate with project engineers, project managers, CAD/BIM operators, technical writers, suppliers, and installers. Ideal candidates must be comfortable communicating regularly via video conference, email, and internal ticketing systems.

This job is part of the Construction Management function and is responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate the deployment of multiple automation solutions at customer data centers.
  • Acquire a clear understanding of product requirements by reviewing, understanding, and interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Use industry‑standard project management methodologies to initiate, plan, execute automation deployments, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and budget targets are met.
  • Document and manage risks, issues, actions, and decisions that affect automation deployment deliverables.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
  • Coordinate efforts and ensure stakeholder timelines are met.
  • Organize complex product information into clear written descriptions and instructions; identify process refinement and standardization in deployments.
  • Provide project execution guidance throughout the end‑to‑end project lifecycle and assess potential construction workarounds to avoid project schedule slips.
  • Lead projects, coordinating activities with customers, engineering teams, and suppliers while overseeing third‑party integrators performing implementation work.
  • Create and utilize templates for standardizing system documentation.
  • Proactively engage with the project team and provide status reports.
  • Identify and recommend metrics to consistently measure and track productivity on a monthly basis.
  • Skillfully manage a diverse set of team members and stakeholders.
  • Apply exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Coordinate with and influence stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Smartsheet schedules, dashboards, and work within Google Suites.
  • Preferred experience with robotic process automation.
  • Standard PMP or LEED AP methodology.
  • Some experience with data center infrastructure projects or mission‑critical environments is a strong plus.
  • Travel requirements: up to 25%.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desired.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information. Convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
