Safety Coordinator
Job Description An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers.
Responsibilities- Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA.
- Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures.
- Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders.
- Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation.
- Maintain and update relevant documentation such as single-line drawings.
- Experience in construction and electrical work.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Certification such as CHST, CSP, STSC, or another accredited board-certified safety certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical construction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in data centers preferred.
The work environment is primarily in a construction setting, dealing with electrical systems. The role may involve navigating complex environments such as data centers.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
