Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually (Negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our Nursing Department in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and a culture of high-quality, resident-centered care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about mentoring staff, improving outcomes, and driving quality initiatives.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct overall Nursing Department operations
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures governing nursing services
- Provide written and verbal reports and recommendations to the Administrator and Medical Director
- Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain and oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
- Participate in regulatory surveys
- Assist with discharge planning and administrative duties including reports, audits, and evaluations
- Monitor Quality Measures, Quality Indicators, and survey outcomes
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified areas of improvement
- Delegate authority and responsibility to nursing staff as appropriate
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and long-term care standards
- Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the position
- Must meet facility health requirements including physical examination
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds
