Our exclusive workouts are led by a virtual instructor in a semi private environment, suitable for all fitness levels to give members MORE WORKOUT IN LESS TIME!
General Manager Mission - To develop and maintain the overall success of HOTWORX through effective management strategies, marketing tactics, consultative sales skills, and superior customer service to meet and exceed the performance goals of HOTWORX Bettendorf. To maintain the integrity and good reputation of the HOTWORX brand through various local and national marketing tactics and to professionally represent the brand at all times.
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, sales and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and driving business performance. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a results oriented decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.

Candidates interested in joining our team should expect to be successful in the following:- Meeting and exceeding membership sales goals.
- Showing up daily on time with the mindset to execute every job duty and function with absolute Enthusiasm - 40 hour work week.
- Providing superior service to members at all times by creating a positive and motivating environment.
- Coaching and training sales staff while achieving personal sales goals to lead by example along with interviewing, hiring and firing of staff.
- Meeting with and reporting on sales trends and prospecting efforts to owner daily.
- Managing staff schedule, manage the studio relating to all maintenance.
- Utilizing social media and all other marketing and advertising media to engage members and the community and to help grow the member base and brand awareness daily.
- Using online platforms and software for customer relations management processes, POS systems for membership sale, billing and collections as well as for email and texting campaigns.
- Completing all required trainings both online and in person as required by owners, to ensure you have all the tools needed to be successful.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
High School diploma required. - 1-2 years of experience in a health club or fitness environment.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- 1-2 years of sales experience.
- Dynamic, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must live in the Quad Cities or willing to relocate at candidate’s own expense.
Certifications:
- Complete HOTWORX trainer certification. One time certification with required refresher course as part of the annual convention agenda.
- Complete all assigned HOTWORX® University Online required courses for level of employment. Courses must be taken once annually.
- Complete any newly introduced HOTWORX® University Online courses as they are available.
- Complete HOTWORX® University’s Franchisee and GM School. This class should be taken once annually.
- Complete any additional regional training seminars as they are scheduled and made available.
- Complete on-site training including the Circle of Success processes, studio operations, equipment maintenance, product training and all other applicable on-site applications.
- Subscribe to the CEO weekly blog on , read weekly and put into practice.
- Complete any assigned webinar and/or phone conference sessions and be prepared to take any quizzes or tests to ensure material is retained.
- Maintain CPR active certification at all times.
- Additional training requirements may be required at any time.
Job Type: Full-time.
