Title:

Software Analyst

Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Location:

Moline, IL (ONSITE)

Duration: yet to be determined

Type – W2 contract (No C2C)

Please note - It more on the business, communication side of things. They will not be analyzing software code or anything of that nature.

  • They will consider recent grads with exceptional communication skills and the right drive and willingness to learn.
  • They are willing to train the right person up.
  • This person will not be doing any software programming.
  • It is a liaison which will work with different groups including software teams, thus importance of communication skills.
  • The Software Analyst supports the Manufacturing & Engineering Software Procurement team by managing the lifecycle of commercial software assets across assigned product portfolios.
  • This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, and suppliers to ensure compliant, cost effective, and intentional software investments.
  • The person in this role will serve as a liaison between all the groups above.
  • Key responsibilities include reviewing and fulfilling software requests, analyzing license usage and capacity, supporting renewals and negotiations, maintaining accurate spend and entitlement data, and identifying optimization and cost avoidance opportunities.
  • The analyst contributes to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, and helps drive standard processes for software selection, procurement, and delivery.
  • The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, understands enterprise software licensing models, and is comfortable working across technical and financial stakeholders in a complex manufacturing and engineering environment.
