Adjunct Faculty - Business Instructor

Overview

Black Hawk College seeks Adjunct/ Part-time Instructor in the Business Department.

• Encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi; by developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students' educational experience; develop and execute appropriate methods of evaluating students’ performance; develop, secure, and maintain the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.

• Master's degree in Business Administration required. Diversified academic credentials in business administration preferred.
• Two years of relevant and documented work experience required.
• Teaching experience in related subjects preferred.
• Must possess demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction.
• Experience with in Supply Chain Management desirable.

• Pay is commensurate with education and experience. Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty (as of Fall 2024):
  Less Than a Master s Degree = $693.36 per equated hour;
  Master s Degree = $808.92 per equated hour;
  Doctorate = $866.70 per equated hour.
