Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employees at this level perform skilled work in the trade of a plumber, following recognized procedures and techniques for such work. They work under direct supervision from a designated supervisor.

APPOINTMENT: (Creating a pool of applicants for permanent and extra help positions)

HOURLY WAGE: $42.70 (prevailing wage)

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Successful completion of a recognized plumber apprenticeship program or five (5) years (60 months) of full-time journey- level plumber experience.

* Possession of current State of Illinois Plumber's License.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be conferred at the time of application.
