Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services in Goodyear Auto Service centers while delivering an excellent guest experience.
- Troubleshoot problems with strong diagnostic skills; inspect, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
- Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping; use protective equipment when operating machinery and tools.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels; stand, bend, and squat as needed.
- Mentor and continually learn about new technologies in a team environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred Qualifications:
ASE A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension and A5 Certification in Brakes and State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover business needs; stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays depending on location.
- Ability to use technology and various applications to support correct diagnostics.
- Utilize tools, skills, and product knowledge to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
