North Wales Wildlife Trust are seeking a Membership Recruitment Officer (North East Wales) to engage with and encourage members of the public to support the Wildlife Trust as members, through enthusing them about the Wildlife Trust’s work at events or other venues across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with and enthuse the public about the Wildlife Trust’s work to recruit new members at events or other venues across the region.
  • Represent the organisation with a proactive, face-to-face recruitment or customer service approach.
  • Attend varied outdoor events and work towards recruitment targets while understanding fundraising legislation and data protection principles.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to different settings within the geography, business development activities, and Wildlife Trust programs.
  • Support public interaction and problem solving; participate in a role that will evolve after appointment, with opportunities to take innovative approaches.
Qualifications and profile

You will be from a sales, marketing, or public-facing background within private, public or charitable sector. You will have an engaging and proactive approach grounded by strong face-to-face recruitment or customer service experience.
