Youth Worker – 1:1 SEND School Support (North Wales )
We are currently seeking a caring and resilient Youth Worker to provide 1:1 support for pupils in a SEND school setting. This role involves supporting children with ADHD and challenging behaviour, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop appropriate emotional and behavioural skills.
Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support to primary‑aged pupils with ADHD and behavioural needs
- Supporting emotional regulation, focus, and positive behaviour in the classroom
- Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
- Encouraging social skills, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
- Has experience working with children (youth work, schools, childcare, or similar)
- Is patient, calm, and confident when managing challenging behaviour
- Has an understanding of ADHD and SEND needs (or a willingness to learn)
- Is reliable, nurturing, and committed to supporting young learners
- Full‑time and part‑time roles available
- Immediate starts and upcoming placements

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short‑term and long‑term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face‑to‑face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
Pay: £13.79 per hour.
Referral incentive: £50 in shopping vouchers if you refer a friend and they are placed in the job.
