Why You'll do
The Billing Clerk supports invoicing and payment processing activities for IAPMO Training & Education programs, ASSE Certification programs, and the ASSE Product Listing Program. This position is responsible for accurately creating invoices in Business Central, processing payments, and maintaining organized financial records to ensure timely and efficient billing operations across assigned business units.
Please note - this role is Part-Time in office, with optional working days within an 20-24 hour work week.
How you'll do it
- Process online receipts in the Business Central accounting system accurately and in a timely manner for assigned departments.
- Assist with processing payments received via USPS for advance registration of training programs.
- Assist with processing payments received via USPS for walk-in attendees and post-class packages.
- Generate monthly invoices in Business Central for the ASSE Product Listing Program, including Seal Renewal billing and project-related work.
- Create and issue product certificates associated with ASSE Product Listing Program monthly billing.
- Maintain and file all documentation appropriately on the Mokena office file servers and SharePoint.
- Assist with maintaining organized files and record-keeping systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business unit operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
